We like keeping up with what Google’s is up to, you might remember my post on
Google’s Visual Assets Guidelines, so here’s another nice little update – staying with the ‘flatter’ look as pointed out in my previous Google blog!
Google hired New York designer and illustrator, Matt Delbridge, to come up with some illustrations to help promote their ‘Hello World’ campaign for Google Maps.
His designs feature Google Maps graphics including the yellow Street View figure and recognizable red location marker.
The designs also incorporate things you’d associate with places, for example a bowl of ramen with Tokyo and a tuk-tuk for Bangkok.
